"Don’t look!" a thick voice snarled at her. "I… I… I…" Arya sobbed. The old man shook her so hard her teeth rattled. "Shut your mouth and close your eyes, boy." Dimly, as if from far away, she heard a… a noise… a soft sighing sound, as if a million people had let out their breath at once.
If Game of Thrones decides to make it happen, there could be a return to Westeros in the cards for Sean Bean. But how would that be possible, with Ned Stark’s noble head removed at the end of season one? In a new interview with Vulture, Sean Bean talks about the possibility of coming back to the show to resolve unfinished business with a few of Game of Thrones’ main characters. The discussion contains major spoilers explaining how Bean could appear and why, so viewers who haven’t read the books should proceed with caution!
She had last seen snow the day she’d left Winterfell. That was a lighter fall than this, she remembered. Robb had melting flakes in his hair when he hugged me, and the snowball Arya tried to make kept coming apart in her hands. It hurt to remember how happy she had been that morning. Hullen had helped her mount, and she’d ridden out with the snowflakes swirling around her, off to see the great wide world.
“I was not even with Ned when he died.. Her head swam, and the sept seemed to move around her. The shadows swayed and shifted, furtive animals racing across the cracked white walls. Catelyn had not eaten today. Perhaps that had been unwise. She told herself that there had been no time, but the truth was that food had lost its savor in a world without Ned. When they took his head off, they killed me too.“
This DVD extra describing the circumstances around Catelyn’s engagement to Ned Stark and Ned bringing home Jon Snow is better written, more comprehensible, and shows more understanding of Cat’s character than what we’ve seen this season. Good character backstory sketch.
